As soon as you notice a wet or soiled diaper, change it as soon as possible to prevent rashes.
- Remove soiled diaper
- Use mild soap and water or baby wipes to gently clean the diaper area
- Pat the skin dry with a soft cloth or let it air-dry.
- After cleansing, apply a generous amount of Magic Booty Butter to the affected areas. Focus on the cheeks of the buttocks and between the legs, as these areas are most prone to irritation.
- If your baby develops irritation in other sensitive areas (such as the bum cheeks or genitals), apply the cream there as well.
- Take extra care to avoid getting butter INTO sensitive areas such as the vagina, urethra and anus.
- Be sure to cleanse thoroughly with soap and water at bathtime and apply a fresh layer afterwards.
- Try to avoid getting your Magic Booty Butter on your clothing.

Parabens and Phthalates are two types of chemicals that are often found in personal care products, such as cosmetics, shampoos, and perfumes. They have different functions and potential health effects.
Parabens are preservatives that prevent the growth of bacteria and mold in products that contain natural ingredients. They usually have names that end with “paraben”, such as methylparaben or propylparaben. Some studies have suggested that parabens can disrupt hormones in the body and increase the risk of cancer, but the evidence is not conclusive. The FDA has not regulated parabens, but the European Commission has banned or restricted some of them.
Phthalates are chemicals that make plastics more flexible and durable. They are also used to enhance the fragrance and texture of products. They usually have names that end with “phthalate”, such as diethylphthalate or dibutylphthalate. Some studies have shown that phthalates can interfere with hormones and reproductive development, especially in children. The FDA has not banned phthalates, but for your health and ours, Okoboji Soap Company has chosen to restrict their use in any of our products.
