Tested On People NOT Animals!
Our products are given great thought and care in the Workshop and tested on owners, staff and of course family before they hit the shelves. Human products are never, ever tested on animals. We do offer a select line of pet products that are specifically formulated to the different make up of their skin's composition and PH, those products are specifically MADE FOR animals and lab tested for PH qualities. Again, these products are tested thoroughly within family and staff beloved pets before hitting the shelves. Not only do we not test human products on animals, but our products will not harm natural ecosystems or aquatic life when they go down the drain and out into the environment.
When you see this icon, it means the product is 100% vegan, meaning it is free of all animal or animal-derived products, including milk in any form. Since many of our products contain goat’s milk, honey or beeswax, they would not have a vegan symbol but are still considered vegetarian.
All of our products are vegetarian, only some are true vegan.
Goat's milk, known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties, is the star ingredient in our top-selling products. This creamy elixir, rich in vitamins and minerals, will leave your skin feeling soft, supple, and radiant. These products will have pure goats milk added to its formulation. This icon means that this product is enriched with the natural goodness of honey, beeswax, or other bee byproducts. Honey, a natural humectant, helps to hydrate the skin and lock in its natural moisture. It also has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from environmental damage. Beeswax acts as a protective barrier on the skin surface, without clogging pores. It also carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped and damaged skin. Other bee byproducts have unique properties that can enhance the effectiveness of our product. Please note, however, that this product may contain any of these ingredients, and we recommend individuals with allergies to bees or bee products exercise caution when using that specific product.
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. While it is commonly associated with food products, it's important to note that gluten can also be present in personal care items, including soap. Using gluten-free soap can help prevent potential skin reactions and provide a safer option for those with gluten-related concerns. When you see this icon, you can rest assured that there is absolutely no gluten present in our product.

Non-GMO stands for non-genetically modified organisms. These are products that have not been genetically engineered or altered in any way. Parabens and Phthalates are two types of chemicals that are often found in personal care products, such as cosmetics, shampoos, and perfumes. They have different functions and potential health effects.
Parabens are preservatives that prevent the growth of bacteria and mold in products that contain natural ingredients. They usually have names that end with “paraben”, such as methylparaben or propylparaben. Some studies have suggested that parabens can disrupt hormones in the body and increase the risk of cancer, but the evidence is not conclusive. The FDA has not regulated parabens, but the European Commission has banned or restricted some of them.
Phthalates are chemicals that make plastics more flexible and durable. They are also used to enhance the fragrance and texture of products. They usually have names that end with “phthalate”, such as diethylphthalate or dibutylphthalate. Some studies have shown that phthalates can interfere with hormones and reproductive development, especially in children. The FDA has not banned phthalates, but for your health and ours, Okoboji Soap Company has chosen to restrict their use in any of our products.
